Hi! I’m Tessa, an animal lover, outdoor enthusiast, and proud cat mom to Lenore and Petunia. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, from the pets I grew up with to the moose, bears, and other wildlife I’ve encountered on countless canoe and camping trips.

When I’m not studying physical therapy or out exploring the trails, you’ll often find me volunteering at the local cat café, Wired Whisker, which combines two of my favorite things: cats and coffee. There, I help care for cats in search of their forever homes and have seen firsthand how much love and dedication goes into giving every cat a second chance. That’s why I’ve chosen to support Animal Allies Humane Society, an organization that shares my passion for helping animals find safety, comfort, and love.

This year, I’m running Grandma’s Marathon to combine some of my biggest passions, running and animals, and raise support for a cause that means so much to me. I’ve been running for over 10 years through sports and local races, but Grandma’s will always hold a special place in my heart.
