My Story…
This June, I’ll be running Grandma’s Marathon as a charity runner for Animal Allies.
Over the past several months, running has carried me through a lot both physically and mentally. Through a really tough year, I’ve found myself incredibly grateful for this body and its ability to keep showing up for me.
A huge part of why I’m running is because of animals like my shy girl Pickles. The comfort, joy, and unconditional love animals bring into our lives is hard to even put into words. Animal Allies helps give so many animals the chance to find safe, loving homes, and I’m proud to support that mission.
26.2 miles is going to be hard, but it feels meaningful in a way I didn’t expect.
