I'm Running to Transform Lives Through Mentorship!
For me, participating in a 5K during Grandma’s Marathon weekend is about more than crossing the finish line — it’s about supporting a mission I deeply believe in. I have proudly served on the Board of Mentor North since 2019 in a variety of roles and currently serve as Board Secretary. Through Mentor North, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact mentorship can have on confidence, connection, and opportunity for young people in our community.
I’m also honored to be a mentor to Ellie, and that relationship has reinforced how meaningful it is to simply show up, listen, encourage, and support someone as they grow. Mentorship is something I’m passionate about both personally and professionally, and I believe strong mentoring relationships can truly change lives. I’m fundraising to help Mentor North continue creating those opportunities for youth across our region, and I’m grateful for any support along the way.
Description
I’m running my 2026 Grandma’s Marathon race to support Mentor North! This amazing nonprofit connects young people in Duluth and Superior with mentors who help build confidence, resilience, and belonging. Youth, mentors, and families also gain meaningful community connections through Mentor North’s programming. Every dollar you give helps create and sustain life-changing relationships. I’m so grateful for your support. Thank you for cheering me on and making a difference for youth and families in the Twin Ports community!
