My Story…
I’m kindly asking for donations for Swim Bowen, a fundraiser for cancer care on Bowen Island, BC. Money raised will directly benefit Bowen Island residents in active cancer treatment or who have completed treatment within the last 12 months.
Two friends David Bellringer, Michael Henrichsen and I are currently swimming around Bowen Island in 5 separate legs for a total distance of around 33 km. We started in June and we have already completed 2 out of 5 legs for ~10km of total swimming. We are planning to complete our swim by the end of August. As part of our swim, I will participate in the Swim Bowen event on the morning of July 11th. My 16 year old daughter Norah will swim 750m and I will swim 1,500m along with ~70 other swimmers
