My Story…
Hello Friends –
As many of you are aware, the BC Cancer Foundation's "Ride to Cure Cancer" fundraising event is no longer active, in large part due to adverse weather and forest fire conditions during recent years. As a result, this year I will be participating in the "2026 Ryder Hesjedal's tour de Victoria", again riding with the Raymond James team.
This one day event takes place on August 15, and will comprise an 80 km loop around greater Victoria and the Saanich peninsula.
I will be riding this year again in memory of my cousin Diane, my dad, and other friends, family and colleagues who have been impacted by this disease, in the hope of raising funds and awareness, and to do my part to help us find a cure.
While things like AI, $2.00 gas, and the dismal Vancouver Canucks have taken over the headlines lately, now more than ever, it is important to support charitable causes such as this.
If you wish to donate to this cause, please click on the link in the "Make a Donation" box above; your contribution will make an impact and help those in need and hopefully find a cure. Oh, and your donation is tax deductible…
Thank you so much for your support!
