My Story…
Greetings to all,
I have been a paddler with the Dirty Oars (now known as Ottawa's Own Dirty Oars) for 13 years. The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragonboat Festival is the biggest and best competition we take part in. It takes place at Mooney's Bay from Friday June 19th to Sunday June 21st. It is a really big Community Charity Fundraising Event. This year the groups that will be the recipients of our fundraising efforts are:
Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (Walk This Way Program)
Nutrition Blocs (Hot Breakfast/Summer Nutrition Program)
The Partage Vanier Food Bank
Roger Neilson Children's Hospice (Young Grievers Camp)
Tim Hortons Foundation Camps
