Our story…

The Autism Support Network (ASN) is excited to announce that the 2026 Club Fit Charity Challenge 1K/5K is open! The challenge is open to everyone and all abilities and aims to educate families about the benefits of exercise and community.

The Autism Support Network is an official charity in the 2026 Beneva Vancouver Half Marathon Charity Challenge. The ASN Club Fit Charity Challenge is part of this larger event - built for our community, at our pace.

Whether you walk, run, roll, or just come to cheer, you’re part of the ASN Club Fit team.

If you would like to support the ASN with a donation, please meet our team below and support one of our runners! ⬇️

Led by our Team Captain, Chris, we’re bringing people together for two practice walks and the main event 1K or 5K Charity Challenge run/walk at the beautiful Hawthorne Rotary Park in Surrey, BC. The route is a paved sidewalk, accessible for everyone.

Practice Walks (optional & no-pressure):
May 24 | 11:00 AM
June 7 | 11:00 AM

Main Event – ASN Charity Challenge 1K Run/Walk:
June 14 | 11:00 AM

📍 Hawthorne Rotary Park
10513 144 St, Surrey, BC

All registered participants will receive a medal at the Finish Line 🏅 and a t-shirt.

There is a drop off zone and limited parking at the park, and local street parking. Carpooling is recommended. There is a playground, waterpark and washrooms. The ASN Tent will be set up near the waterpark where you can check in and get information about the route and meet other families.
