This September, I’m lacing up again for the Canada Army Run, I’m running in memory of my uncle Yvon, who served our country with pride for many years. His commitment, integrity, and quiet strength left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Though he’s no longer with us, the values he stood for continue to guide me.

This year, I’m also taking on the Sergeant Major’s Challenge—a 5K followed immediately by a 10K. It’s a tough test, but one that feels meaningful: showing up, pushing through, and giving my best.

This race is my way of remembering, giving back, and turning remembrance into action.
