My Story…
My son, Jack, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces just after his 18th birthday, and is now entering his final year of ROTP at RMC Kingston. I was looking for an event to run to show my support for Forces members, as well as raise funds for a great cause - Support our Troops and Soldier On. These funds help support our Canadian Armed Forces community, their families, and the ill and injured.
On Sunday, September 20 Jack and I will run the 10k event together in Ottawa. I couldn't be more proud of his career choice, and I relish in the opportunity to run with him and help raise money for this cause.
