I started my running journey back in 2021 during COVID. As a full-time nurse, I needed something that helped clear my mind and keep me grounded. In the beginning, I could only run for short periods, but I set small goals and kept building from there. Month by month, I pushed myself to go farther and challenge what I thought I was capable of.

This year has brought some unexpected challenges, but instead of letting them stop me, I’m using them as fuel. One of my biggest bucket list goals has always been to run a marathon—and now I’m finally going for it.
