Charlotte County Cancer Society

Over the last 60 years, Charlotte County Cancer Society have helped Charlotte County residents with their unplanned costs of drugs, dressings/ostomy supplies, prosthetics and transportation. 

We work with the social workers at the Regional Hospital in Saint John, the staff of extra-mural outlets, local drug stores, the medical community and the general public to refer those who need some assistance.

We can assist with money for transportation to medical appointments or treatments, including gas cards or ferry passes.  Clients can charge their prescription costs to us at their drug store when preapproved.  We have hospital beds, which we loan out, or we can cover the cost of purchasing or renting other equipment needed to make life a little easier.  

We sponsor a coffee machine in the Hospice office at Charlotte County Hospital for clients receiving chemo locally.

We have donated funds for hospital equipment that help treat or diagnose cancer.
