Help Jacquelyn raise money

This October, I’m running a half marathon in my hometown of Nashville, TN for the first time, and I’d like to dedicate my training to something bigger than myself. For this race, I’m fundraising for loved ones impacted by cancer.

My story is not unique. Too many of the people in my life and beyond have faced this life threatening diagnosis. Their stories are not mine to share, but I’d like to do whatever I can to love and support them. Sometimes that care shows up indirectly through defending our environment so that we may drink clean water, breathe clean air, and eat food from safe, sustainable farmlands. Other times, that solidarity shows up on a more direct level, giving resources to those in need.

Funds raised will support the American Cancer Society on their mission to combat this disease through advocacy, research, and patient support to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
