Help Drew raise money

My name is Drew Haynie, and I am 29 years old. This year, cancer has taken two incredibly important people from my life, one of them being my Dad. Cancer is a devastating disease that can take the people we love far sooner than anyone expects.

Growing up, my family lived and breathed baseball. My dad, my brother, and I all had the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, and both my dad and my brother went on to play professionally. Sports and competition have always been a huge part of our lives. After baseball, my dad loved running. He spent countless miles training with his friends at Radnor Lake State Park and on trails all around the Nashville area.

This race is in honor of my Dad and my cousin Donna, who both lost their battles with cancer this year. While it has been an incredibly heartbreaking year for our family, we find peace and hope in knowing they are both in Heaven with Jesus. We rejoice in the thought of one day being able to see them again.

I will be running alongside my cousin, Madisyn, as we raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Our goal is to support their mission of helping those who are currently fighting cancer and to honor the memories of those we’ve lost.
