Our story…
The Trail Senders are a group of friends who love off-road cycling. The original team name has its roots in rock climbing “to send”. From local events like the 24-hour summer solstice to the Leadville Trail100 - challenge accepted. When the going gets tough, the team gets going.

Team work is amazing! Our team is taking on the 2026 Paris to Ancaster: A Ride for Research at St. Joe’s.
We call it a Ride for Research because funds raised through the Paris to Ancaster will fund vital healthcare research underway at St. Joe’s. The pledges you raise could be helping to fund the largest national study EVER into the leading cause of blindness for Canadians. Or helping to launch more clinical trials – in addition to the 54 clinical trials that are already happening at the Hospital. Researchers at St. Joe’s are already changing the way that urologic surgeries are performed with robotics, too! These are just a few examples of REAL RESEARCH happening RIGHT NOW at our Hospital.
