Raise money for Help A Girl Out
Help A Girl Out (HAGO) is a registered charity organization that aims to eliminate period poverty and shame through access, education and empowerment. Period poverty is the lack of access to menstrual products, education, hygiene facilities, or support needed to manage menstruation with dignity.
Since 2018, we have distributed over 1,000,000 menstrual products to support individuals in 350 cities across Canada and delivered 300+ educational workshops to reach over 10,000 individuals.
Help Us Run to End Period Poverty & Shame
At the 2025 Toronto Waterfront Marathon, we’re not just running — we’re breaking taboos. One step at a time, we’re ending the shame around periods and building a world where no one is held back because of their menstrual cycle.
Help A Girl Out (HAGO) is proud to run under the theme “Stigma Ends With Me” — a bold declaration that together, we can challenge harmful myths, provide access to essential products, and create safer, more informed communities.
Your donation supports:
Free menstrual products for those in need
Culturally responsive education in schools, shelters, and community spaces
Reusable pad sewing programs in 12+ cities
Youth empowerment and gender equity training resources
When you give to HAGO, you're not just funding a cause — you're joining a movement. Let's stand together for a stigma-free and period-friendly world.
