My Story…
UrbanPromise Toronto (UPT) is a Christian non-profit organization that has been spreading the love of Jesus by serving families in Toronto Community Housing for the past 28 years through:
• running accessible children's after school programs and camps,
• providing meaningful and formational employment to high school students, and
• creating opportunities for these youth leaders to restore their communities.
Your donation turns possibility into opportunity.
I'm Marlene, the Leadership Development Coordinator who works with the high school students at UPT's Camp Truth site. I get to see firsthand the difference these programs make in the lives of the young people and their communities.
This year, I'm running 5K to raise $5K for UrbanPromise Toronto at the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. If you’d like to support my run and the work I do, I would be so grateful for your donation.

Thank you for believing in our work, for being a part of it and for cheering me on as I run this race! ❤️
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
