My Story…
In 2023, what started as a high fever and rash for our son quickly became much more serious, leading to a month-long stay in the hospital. Despite receiving treatment, his heart was irreversibly affected, with lifelong consequences - a reality no family is ever prepared for.
I am running this half marathon to raise awareness of this rare illness and to fundraise for Kawasaki Disease Canada. This organization plays a vital role in raising awareness and supporting patients and families as they navigate a difficult journey.
Donate to help David raise money for 2026 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
