My Story…
What? 15 years already?! Apparently, walking a 5K every year makes time fly.
I'm participating in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5K with TEAM ASTHMA for the 15th year. My daughter, Ziya, can't join me this year. She will be at a hockey tournament on October 17th. 🥅 But she'll still be getting her steps in by running virtually with her teammates before taking her spot in goal.
As a proud long-time member of TEAM ASTHMA, I'm once again lacing up my running shoes to support Asthma Canada and the nearly 5 million Canadians living with asthma and respiratory allergies.
All funds raised through this campaign will support Asthma Canada's 2026 research, education, and advocacy programs. Our vision is a future without asthma, and with your help, we can move one step closer while helping Canadians breathe easier today.
