My Story…
On September 1st, 2026 Jeff Weir passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. For over 2 years Jeff showed immense strength as he fought and lived with cancer. Never once complaining or losing hope. A hero, a role model, and an icon to many!
On May 3rd, 2026 I ran my first marathon, I was with Jeff the day before I ran. He was so excited to tell everyone that I was going to be doing a marathon, and was so pleased when I finished!
On October 18th, 2026 I will be running the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in honour of my Father-in-law, Jeff Weir. Through this run I hope to raise money for The Canadian Cancer Society and honour Jeff in a way where I can show a portion of the strength that he showed us.
