My Story…
Please help me raise funds for Fanconi Canada to advance research in Canada into effective treatments for Fanconi anemia and related cancers.
Fanconi Canada has committed over $400,000 to support the work of the BC Cancer Agency as part of the Fanconi Anemia Cancer Consortium (FACC), a collaborative partnership between the FA community and a network of clinicians and physician scientists who have expertise in the diagnosis and management of FA cancers and FA cancer research.
Fanconi Canada also co-sponsored the 2023 Scientific Symposium in Vancouver in September. The Symposium focused on five key areas relevant to FA research: gene therapy, bone marrow failure, DNA repair, manifestations of FA that affect quality of life, and cancer.
