My Story…
Will was a dear friend and I'm running to support this fund in his honour. As we continue to raise funds for the Will Munro Fund, our goal is to ensure the fund is a permanent support to the 2SLGBTQ+ community
The Will Munro Fund for Queer and Trans People Living with Cancer is dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance to LGBTTIAQQ2S people of all ages who are currently living with cancer in Ontario.
The Fund distributes $6,000 annually with up to $1,000 being awarded every two months based on need, as determined by the Will Munro Memorial Committee. The goal of the Fund is to help reduce financial hardship, improve quality of life, and enable people to focus on their health and family. The Fund is trusteed by The 519.
