Armand James Gagne (AJ) was a son, brother, uncle, best friend, cousin, and a light in the lives of many. He made an impact on everyone he met. He was a special soul who always looked forward to gatherings with family and friends, thrifting, barbecues, getting out in nature to camp and fish, ghost hunting, and game nights and tournaments with his homies. Despite his greatest battle, he always remained positive. 

His compassion and kindness showed in his concern for others, and his generosity, thoughtfulness, and patience made people feel heard and seen. With his open-hearted nature, he always made you feel loved and important. In Armand's words, "to be able to love and be loved is one of the best gifts," and that was how he described "Living the Dream."

This year, we're doing a run in AJ's honour to raise money for the Cancer Research Society so they can continue their work battling cancer and help spare other families the heartbreak of losing someone they love. Every dollar raised brings researchers closer to better treatments, earlier detection, and one day, a cure.
