Our story…
We are Team Never Give Up.
We run in support of Kawasaki Disease Canada — because awareness saves hearts, and hearts save lives.
About Kawasaki disease
Kawasaki disease (KD) is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in Canadian children. Every year, over 550 children are diagnosed — and approximately 25% will face lifelong heart problems as a result.
The good news: treatment within the first 10 days of fever onset can dramatically reduce that number. With your support, we can help protect over 100 children's hearts every year.
We run in honour of our warriors.
Isaiah — Living with coronary aneurysms since age 3, Isaiah has shown a bravery and resilience that humbles everyone around him. He is still fighting — and we run with him.
Dylan — Dylan never had the chance to run a 5K. We carry his memory with us every step of the way, and we run so that no other child's story ends too soon.
Every KD warrior — We run for every child who has faced this disease, and for their families, who face it alongside them.
We also run to celebrate. We are grateful for healthy hearts, for working legs, and for the privilege of crossing a finish line — something not every child gets the chance to do. Every kilometre is a gift, and we don't take a single one for granted.
Please support our team. Your donation funds awareness, early detection, and ultimately — more children with healthy hearts and long lives ahead of them.
