Victoria Native Friendship Centre

The VNFC is a non-profit Indigenous-led organization located on Southern Vancouver Island, BC, on the traditional lands o fthe Lekwungen speaking People of the Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations.   

Since 1969, the VNFC has been mandated to encourage and promote the well-being of urban Indigenous people by strengthening individuals, families, and community.  Up to 200 compassionate staff members deliver over 75+ programs and services to the estimated over 21,000 off-reserve Indigenous people in community, as well as supporting on-reserve citizens in the 10 local nations.  

VNFC offers unique wrap-around programming that includes full daycare, early childhood development programs, family violence prevention, youth services, a full community kitchen and more.
