My Story…
I'm raising funds to help purchase a new accessible bus for Nigel House, and I'd love your help.
For the people who live at Nigel House, a bus is about so much more than getting from one place to another. It's a connection to the world outside their home. It means getting to appointments, enjoying an outing, visiting a favourite place, and simply having the freedom to be part of the community.
Nigel House is home to 41 adults living with complex health conditions, many of whom use wheelchairs or other mobility supports. Their current bus has reached the end of its functional life, and its wheelchair lift no longer works. A replacement is needed so everyone can travel safely and with dignity.
A new fully accessible bus will primarily serve Nigel House and will also be shared with Veterans Memorial Lodge, ultimately helping more than 250 people stay connected to the community.
That's why I'm fundraising.
Every donation, whatever the amount, will help us get closer to putting a new bus on the road and giving the people we care for more opportunities for independence, connection and belonging.
Please join me and help get Nigel House back on the road.
