My Story…
At the 2026 Royal Vitoria Marathon I will be running my first half marathon. The race date marks the 31st anniversary of my mum's passing. I was 8 years old at the time, but can still remember her kindness, strength, and determination. Each year I try to celebrate her life, and this year, with the encouragement of some amazing friends, I will be able to spend it demonstrating some of my own strength and determination in the form of endurance athletics.
Treatments helped turn months into years, and although my time with her was cut short it could have been much worse. My hope is by fundraising even just a little I will be helping another little girl (or boy) spend much more time with a loved one.
