My Story…
As I run my first ever marathon, I will be running with two of the strongest angels watching over me.
My uncles were the largest, toughest characters who loved loudly and thrived for a challenge.
This year, I lost one of my uncles to a heart attack. Heart issues were not an irregular experience for him, but his passing was both devastating and unexpected. His pride was in his family and he left behind 5 "little sirs."
I am now running to honour them both (& carry on the STRONGEST legacy) while raising funds to support awareness of heart conditions, prevention, education, and research. Helping families in preventing loss too soon.
