Victoria is facing one of the most severe housing crises in the country, with home prices and rents often beyond what many families can afford. Habitat for Humanity Victoria helps provide a “hand up” through affordable homeownership, supporting families as they move from housing insecurity toward long-term stability, hope, and opportunity. Since 1990, we’ve built 34 homes and helped 38 families find safe, decent places to live, but there is still much more to do. By joining the Habitathletes at the Royal Victoria Marathon, every kilometre you run helps move families closer to affordable homeownership in our community.
