My Story…
As I prepare to run my first marathon, I’ve chosen to raise funds for the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. I’m grateful that organizations like this exist—their work is inspiring and makes a meaningful difference when families need it most.
When a family is facing the unthinkable, the CHFVI helps them access the care their children need by providing accommodation near hospitals, assistance with medical travel, specialized equipment and funding for essential health-care programs across Vancouver Island.
As a dad of two young children, this cause feels especially meaningful to me. Wherever we live, we can all relate to wanting children to receive the best possible care and their families to feel supported.
