My Story…
I am a stroke survivor and an active member of the Victoria Stroke Recovery Association and the Victoria Brain Injury Society. My stroke recovery journey has taught me that progress doesn’t happen all at once—it happens one step at a time. Walking and running have become an important part of my stroke recovery. Every step helps me build my fitness, strength, and confidence, while reminding me of how far I’ve come and how much more is possible. I am taking on this challenge not only for myself, but also to help raise awareness and support for stroke and brain injury recovery. I hope my journey can inspire others who are facing their own challenges to keep moving forward and believe in their progress. Every step counts. Every effort matters. And together, we can help make a difference. Thank you for supporting me and for being part of my journey.
