My Story…

My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease when she was 8 years old. It's challenging to live with celiac disease in such a gluten centred world at any age but for children it is even more difficult because food and treats are a part of all their activities and they are constantly "left out". Often gluten free options at restaurants are not child-friendly or are not safe for celiacs. Together, we are learning to navigate it together but I hope one day there will be a cure so she can live a normal risk free normal life.
