Diabetes is a serious disease. Eleven million Canadians are living with diabetes or prediabetes and an additional almost one million people are estimated to have the disease but do not know it. Chances are, diabetes affects you or someone you know. It costs our healthcare system over $13 billion annually and over the next decade, it is expected to rise by another $4.7 billion.

Diabetes Canada leads the fight against diabetes by helping those affected by diabetes live healthy lives, preventing the onset and consequences of diabetes and discovering a cure.
