Our story…
Drew is now 4 years old, & we couldn’t be more proud of him!
This year has brought so much growth. He is using his AAC device like a champ—telling us what he wants & needs, how he’s feeling, & even introducing himself to others. Watching him find his voice has been incredible.
He’s been in preschool for over a year now & is doing great, especially in social groups. At home, he’s basically potty trained (except for #2… we’re working on that every day, lol).
We’ve also been so thankful for our families and the community around us. This past year, we met the Helm family through both the autism community and our gym family, & that connection has meant so much! Our church has also embraced Drew in the children’s ministry, & it’s been amazing to see him loved & included.
Autism is part of Drew’s story, but it doesn’t define him. He is full of life, deeply loved, & continues to inspire us every single day.
