My Story…
This Sunday marks my 4th year participating in the Braestone Winter Classic charity pond hockey tournament. It’s an incredible event that raises funds for cancer awareness and patient care at RVH.
Our team, Barbie’s Dolls, is playing in honour of my teammate’s mom, Barb, who lost her battle with cancer, and in support of all those impacted by this disease.
Any donation, big or small, makes a difference. We truly appreciate your support.
Description
Help Me Bring Cancer Care Closer to Home
This February, I’m hitting the ice at the Braestone Winter Classic — a one-day, outdoor hockey tournament that’s all about community, camaraderie, and making a difference for those living with cancer across our region.
Every dollar I raise supports RVH’s Hudson Regional Cancer Centre, helping ensure that world-class, life-saving cancer care is available close to home for our loved ones, friends, and neighbours.
Cancer has touched all of us in some way. That’s why I’m skating for those who can’t, and fundraising so that no one has to travel far to get the care they deserve.
Your donation — big or small — makes a real impact. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and advanced care to families right here in our community.
