Tuesday February 10th, 2026 will be 11 years TO THE DAY that I had my heart attack. And it is the first time since 2015 the day and date are the same. It's one of those occasions that makes the event feel more meaningful because of its "exactness."  This is my tenth time participating in The Cupid's Cup and even though the event is always scheduled close (the first or second Saturday of February) it has also never been on the exact date. What HAS been consistent is my belief in Atrium's Cardiac Rehab program. To this day I use warm up techniques I learned there beofre I exercise. I also use their diet guidelines to help me maintain my nutritional health. The other thing that has been consistent is the support I get every year from friends and family. It's a great way to ensure people who need financial assistance after having an issue, have access to this amazing program. If you can make a donation, great.
