💙 Team Wollman Fundraising Story

Animals have always been part of my life, not just as pets, but as family, healers, and teachers. Over the years I’ve worked in animal rescue and fostered more dogs than I can count… and yes, I proudly admit I’m a foster failure (more than once). When a furry soul looks at you like that, well, let’s just say “story over”! 🐾

I truly believe our four-legged friends are the most amazing natural medicine there is. They calm us, comfort us, make us laugh on our hardest days, and love us with a purity humans can only aspire to. They show up. Every single day.

That’s why this cause means so much to me. I have been working with K9 for Warriors even back in New York. Hosting fundraisers for this organization too.

Through our Avenir 5K, my husband Rick and I are honored to support K9s for Warriors, an incredible organization that pairs highly trained service dogs, many of them rescues, with veterans who need them most. It’s a beautiful full-circle mission: saving dogs while helping heroes heal.

Doing this alongside my community makes it even more special. We’re not just walking or running. We’re coming together with purpose, heart, and a whole lot of love, proving that when a community rallies, real change happens.
