"First Step Staffing is a nonprofit that helps people overcome barriers to employment by connecting them to immediate work, stable income, and long-term opportunity. Many of the individuals we serve are rebuilding their lives after experiencing homelessness, justice involvement, or other major life disruptions.
Through our unique model, participants can begin working quickly while receiving ongoing support from job coaches who help them navigate challenges, build skills, and move toward stable careers. For many, that first paycheck is the turning point that leads to housing, financial stability, and renewed confidence.
Each year, First Step Staffing connects thousands of individuals to employment opportunities while providing critical services such as career coaching, financial literacy, and pathways to higher-paying jobs. Our goal is simple but powerful: ensure that a temporary setback does not become a permanent barrier to work."
