I’m running the Philadelphia Half Marathon with Team National CMV Foundation to raise awareness and support research and advocacy for cCMV, the leading cause of non-genetic childhood hearing loss. As an aural habilitation therapist at the New England Center for Hearing Rehabilitation, I work with children with hearing loss and their families, witnessing firsthand the impact that early intervention and support can have. The mission of the National CMV Foundation is to prevent pregnancy loss, childhood death, and lifelong disability caused by congenital CMV (cCMV).
