My first half marathon! In my favorite city!

I grew up running cross country in the hills of Wisconsin, but it’s been a long time since running was routine in my life. I moved to Philly to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry at Temple. I fell in love and laid roots in West Philly. I’m beyond excited to push myself to run across this beautiful city, and I’m honored to be running for Point of Pride. 

Since 2016, Point of Pride has awarded $5,801,000 in financial aid and provided gender-affirming support to 30,000 people in all 50 states and 129 countries and counting.

Point of Pride's vision is a world where trans and gender diverse people of all ages see a bright, safe future for themselves—living in their authentic truth, thanks to access to necessary healthcare.

Access to gender affirming care is necessary now more than ever, and Point of Pride is helping to make sure trans and nonbinary folks feel supported no matter where they are. I will be matching all donations up to my goal to double the impact! Thank you for supporting my race and showing up for queer community!
