My Story…
After graduating from college and moving from Chicago to Philadelphia, I’ve been finding my footing in a new city. Running has become a meaningful part of that transition, as a way to explore Philly and feel more connected to my new home.
This November, I’ll be running my FIRST half marathon (YAY!) at the Philadelphia Half Marathon! I’ve been training for this challenge, building up my miles and discovering what I’m capable of along the way. To make this milestone even more meaningful, I’m raising funds for Let Me Run, an organization that helps boys build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and express themselves through running.
As running helps me build a community of my own, I want to help children experience that same sense of connection and belonging, as well as the encouragement to take on new challenges.
My goal is to raise $400, and I’d be grateful for your support. No amount is too small or too big, as every single dollar helps support Let Me Run’s work and the boys it serves.
Thank you for cheering me on and helping me make these 13.1 miles meaningful!
