Help Katelin raise money

I’m running my first half marathon in Philadelphia as an ally and team member for Point of Pride! I love a good challenge, and running has taught me to show up for myself, whatever each run brings, and keep going. Combining running with raising money to support the trans and non-binary community felt like a perfect fit!

Living in the South (North Carolina), I’ve seen how difficult it can be for trans and non-binary people to access gender-affirming care and navigate systems that create unnecessary barriers and cause harm. There are lots of ways to show up, but one of the most direct is financially supporting organizations like Point of Pride that provide money and resources directly to people. I’m proud to put my miles toward such critical work!

Point of Pride is a trans-led nonprofit that provides financial aid and direct support to trans youth and adults, including through programs like the Annual Transgender Surgery Fund and Free Chest Binders. They have awarded more than $6 million in financial aid and provided gender-affirming support to 30,000 people in all 50 states and 129 countries and counting! I love that their work not only removes financial pressure, but also celebrates the resilience, beauty, and joy of the trans and non-binary community!!

Please donate what you can (even $5 goes a long way!) and share this fundraiser. Every dollar helps! :)~
