This November I am running the Philadelphia Half Marathon with friends and a team, Racing for Sustainability. Sustainability is my passion, and my career, and after I was laid off earlier this summer, I felt an even stronger draw to continue fighting for the value of sustainability in any way I could.
The opportunity to run with the Racing for Sustainability team felt like the perfect way to connect my passion for sustainability and running for marathon weekend. The organization strives to make sustainable choices easier, reduce the environmental impact of race events, and bring a culture of sustainability to the sport.
We all have a role to play in making more sustainable choices to improve our lives and our world, and I would love if you could support me and my team this year in helping to make that happen.
