My Story…
Organ donation is more than a medical procedure; it’s more time, memories, birthdays, and more moments with the people we love. Being the girlfriend of a two-time living organ donor (Tyler) has allowed me to see first hand just how powerful one selfless decision can be.
Living organ donors give people a second chance at life and a future they may never have had. I've personally witnessed the power of one person's decision to help another and that reality is what makes this cause so deeply important to me. Supporting the UHN Foundation and raising awareness for living organ donation means helping more families stay together, helping more people get the chance to keep living, and reminding others that one person truly can make an extraordinary difference.
