My Story…
I am walking 175 km in 75 days to support my sororities’ philanthropy, Ronald McDonald Houses. In college I fundraised, collected pop tabs and did service projects for Ronald McDonald Houses. I never thought I’d have a need to stay in a Ronald McDonald House. More than 20 years later, we became guests/residents at the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN, where our youngest son received proton beam radiation treatment for a malignant brain tumor. He’s alive, healthy and stable. I am forever grateful for the shelter, comfort and support of the Ronald McDonald House they provided my family.
