Pete & Kelso are taking on 150km for Anya’s Wish

Over the years, Pete and Kelso have tackled plenty of hard things together. We’ve pushed ourselves, tested our limits and taken on challenges that, at times made us question why we do this to ourselves! 

But the truth is, nothing we have ever faced could come close to what Anya Zuber and her family went through.

Anya was just 13 when she was diagnosed with high-grade metastatic osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. After a courageous six-year journey, Anya sadly passed away in 2020 at just 19 years old.

Her wish was to help create better treatments and better outcomes for other young people facing osteosarcoma. Today, Anya’s Wish continues that legacy by supporting vital research through the Children’s Cancer Institute.

So we’re taking on 150km.

It’s going to hurt. There will be plenty of moments when we’ll want to stop. But every step of that 150km journey, we’ll be thinking of Anya, her family, and the families who continue to face something far harder than anything we’ll experience out there.

Hopefully, with your support, we can use this challenge to raise some serious money, create awareness and play a small part in helping researchers find better treatments and outcomes for kids and young adults diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
