I’m proud to support the YMCA Summer Camp initiative because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, build confidence, and create lasting memories, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Summer camp provides opportunities for friendship, adventure, and personal development that can have a lifelong impact. That’s why I’m especially proud to be part of the Economist Exchange team as we participate in the annual 5K walk to help raise funds for this important cause. Together, we’re helping make it possible for more children to experience the benefits of YMCA summer camps and enjoy a summer filled with opportunity and fun.
Description
I’m participating in this year’s YMCA Charity 5K because I believe every kid deserves the magic of camp, making friends, exploring the outdoors, and creating lifelong memories.
Together, we are raising $500,000 to send over 1,300 kids to experience YMCA camp, where they can build confidence, lifelong friendships, and memories they’ll cherish for years to come.
