Course overview: McLeans Islands is one of Christchurch's hidden treasures! This course weaves in and out of beautiful old grown pine forest and along river banks treating you to stunning natural scenery and pristine farmland. Keep an eye out through the pines for a glimpse of the meandering Waimakariri River.
Suitable for: Great for first timers being a flat easy course. Also fantastic for experienced runners looking for a new PR, this course is FLAT and hard packed, making it for a quick and fun day!
Track condition: 85% well formed track/foresty road, 15% river stone pathways
