Moving Forward, Inc.

Moving Forward Inc is a day hab program in West Barnstable.  Moving Forward's mission is to provide services that encourage, empower and challenge individuals with autism spectrum disorder, social anxiety, learning disabilities, and mild intellectual disabilities, to recognize their inherent worth and be their best selves. 

Moving Forward is intentionally designed small to aid individuals who can easily be lost in a big pond but flourish in a small setting.  Care and respect are basic principles for staff at Moving Forward.  At Moving Forward, individuals are encouraged every day;  helping our members build confidence.  

Our priority this year is to continue to grow our program space.  Last year  (2025) we raised enough funds to build a solid foundation for an outdoor gazebo.   This  additional outdoor space for our members to use will be more conducive to individual sensory needs. We are hoping to build  this outdoor gazebo to conduct some of our activities in. Yoga, music, crafts etc. could be done outside while members are shielded from the hot sun and protected from the bugs!    We pride ourselves with spending time in the community as much as possible.  Our Falmouth Road Race team is graciously working to raise funds to defray costs associated to expanding our horizons.
