The YMCA of Greater Boston was founded back in 1851 as America's First Y! This year, we’re celebrating 175 years of community!
As one of Greater Boston’s leading nonprofits, we’re here to help every child and teen reach their full potential, boost the health and well-being of our neighborhoods, and create meaningful ways for people to give back and support one another. At the Y, we’re building a true sense of belonging for everyone who walks through our doors.
In 2025 alone, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we delivered over $5 million in free or subsidized programs and services to thousands of kids, families, and individuals across Greater Boston.
Our amazing team of runners in the 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race is lacing up and hitting the pavement to fundraise for the Y! Their dedication, energy, and heart help power life-changing programs and open doors for those who need us most. Every step they take brings us closer to a stronger, healthier, more connected community.
