My Story…
I am so honored to be raising money for Team Chase, a foundation that is incredibly close to my heart. Chase was a close friend of mine — we worked together and through that became friends. He was a truly special person, and losing him was absolutely heartbreaking. His loss taught me so much about kindness, love, and the lasting impact one person can have.
I am forever grateful that through this journey I became close with Brooke, Brayden, and Norman. They are like family to me, and supporting them is something I am deeply passionate about. As a Team Captain for the annual road race, it means so much to me to help continue Chase’s legacy. Although running is not my favorite, I’ve shown up year after year — this is my 4th year participating. Unfortunately, due to an injury, I am unable to run this year, but my passion for this foundation is stronger than ever.
I am also a second grade teacher, and every February during Kindness Month, I have the privilege of teaching my students about who Chase was and the legacy he left behind through the Kindness Foundation. Watching his story inspire kindness in young hearts is one of the most powerful reminders of why this work matters.
Please consider donating if you are able. Every contribution—no matter the size—directly supports families, spreads kindness, and keeps Chase’s legacy alive. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or helping spread the word still makes a huge difference.
You can also follow Team Chase on Instagram to see the impact of this foundation, including events like the road race and toy drive, and the many ways kindness continues to grow. Thank you for supporting Team Chase and for helping us make a lasting difference 💙
